Deodato Arte is a brand with art galleries in Milan, Rome, Porto Cervo, Chia, Pietrasanta, Courmayeur, Padua, Brussels and St. Moritz. book of life

David Kracov’s "Book of life" is a self-sustaining sculpture. The work is realized in galvanized metal and acrylic paint and is signed by the artis. The sculpture is a tribute to the extraordinary life of Rabbi Yossi Raichik, director of the Chabad's Children of Chernobyl organization.

Each of the hand-painted butterflies represents one of the 2,547 children saved from the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, who, thanks to the charitable association, were given a chance to start a new life. The pages of this book are full of poems, diary entries and songs written by children who died in Auschwitz, and the central poem is entitled "The butterfly", by Pavel Friedmann, who wrote it when he was 13 years old.

The character, a typical anthropomorphic bear of the Bearbrick family, is Sooty, the star of a children’s TV show created by Harry Corbett in 1948, featuring a yellow bear puppet.

David LaChapelle

David LaChapelle was born in Connecticut in 1963. He moved to New York when he was 17 and was hired by Andy Warhol to work for Interview Magazine. From that time on, LaChapelle became one of the most frequently published photographers in the world: his work has been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide, including the National Portrait Gallery (London, the Musee de Monnaie (Paris), the Barbican Centre (London), the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Musee D'Orsay (Paris).

Born in Boston, David Kracov studied at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and his debut in animation was for the Brad Pitt film, Cool World. Bearbricks are collectible art toys shaped like anthropomorphic bears, produced by the Japanese company Medicom Toy. They made their debut in 2001, at the 12th World Character Convention, in Tokyo, marking a new step in the evolution of action figures. Bearbricks made the leap from action figures to collectible "art toys", iconic personages in urban culture. Bearbricks also feature limited edition collections, the fruit of collaborations with renowned artists and designers, including such names as Kaws, Karl Lagerfeld and Vivienne Westwood.

Daniele Fortuna

MILANO 1981

Born in Milan in 1981, after completing his studies in design Daniele Fortuna moved to Ireland, where he began his love affair with wood while working in a lighting studio. His pieces combine woodwork and acrylic paint, exploiting an ample and audacious chromatic palette. His artistic production, influenced by De Chirico and Fontana, is characterized by the chromatic contamination of classic busts and the inclusion of a vast pop and contemporary iconography.
Fortuna builds a bridge between classicism and modernity by resuscitating the original multicolored aspect of ancient statues.

Mr. Brainwash

GARGES-LÈS-GONESSE 1966

Thierry Guetta, better known as Mr. Brainwash, is a French street artist who began his career by filming other artists, like Space Invader and Banksy, and then embraced street art himself, with success. His works, based on themes like love and hope, combine stencils and spray paint in a style reminiscent of Pop Art, influenced by Warhol and Haring. His paintings, depicting personages such as Einstein and Chaplin, are coveted by collectors. In 2010 he collaborated with Banksy on the documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop”. Today, Mr. Brainwash is one of the world’s most highly regarded street artists.
